The sites are have excellent RV hook-ups with 20/30/50 amp service at many of the newer sites. Roads are in good shape and easy to back-in your RV onto your site.
Fantastic place! The staff were very nice and understanding. Our tent site had electricity and water. They have bath houses which they do a great job cleaning three times a day. You wont find a better camp ground.
The places looks nice but level up on the management skills. If you can charge $500 for weekend of camping you can pay someone to update your website.
Excellent resort-level campground close to Goose Rocks beach. This place has everything your family needs for a comfortable and enjoyable camping trip -- clean bathrooms/showers, heated pool, nicely stocked general store, playground for the kids.
I will admit our reservation was also within the 14-day change window. I'm fine losing my deposit as it's not about the money. Having a manager speak rudely to an upcoming guest without even trying to accommodate them means they'll never see my business.
Only downside we experienced was the confusing visitor policy. $10 per visitor PER NIGHT is the written policy. When we attempted to simply have a friend visit our campsite for an hour for dinner (and not overnight) we were still charged the $10 and curtly told "that's our policy and if you don't like it talk to Cheryl the manager"
Clean and quite campground, nice site, great neighbors. The owner even delivered wood to our site, however, we could not get through via the telephone or email, finally had to take a 2 hour drive to make our reservation for Labor Day 2017. Went to make reservation for next labor day before we left and was told that the manager would contact us the next day since our site was blocked off from reservations next year (we think it will be a seasonal site next year), made phone calls and additional emails with no response as of yet. Very disappointed because we wanted to make this our Labor Day weekend destination. PLEASE FOLLOW UP! Thank you for your telephone call today 10/5/17. My husband and I both checked our email and spam files, there was no message from Sandy Pines - FYI
So they're enforcing a policy that isn't publicly available?
Unfortunate customer experience. This isn't Hidden Pond level customer service (or representative of the owner's other properties under the Kennebunkport Resort Collection). I tried to change a reservation and was told that due to a holiday weekend, they were unable to change it. While I view that as an appropriate response, when I asked where the holiday policy was stated on the website or reservation email, the manager's response was simply "It's not written anywhere." When I asked how they could enforce something not documented I only heard "Sorry, there's nothing we can do."
This campground is beautiful & the people working here are so helpful and friendly. We got in very late at night & we were still greeted with a warm welcome. We have enjoyed the heated pool and the camp store. The laundry facilities are wonderful. There is plenty of space to ride your bikes and Goose rock beach is so close. We thought the bath house was great... especially in comparison to other campgrounds. It's so clean and well kept. I highly recommend this place!
