Overall, just lack-luster.
Food is about as simple as you can get. Lobster roll was just claws in a hotdog bun with frozen French fries. Fish and chips was frozen, pre-battered, and dry. A place with that kind of a view and the prices they charge, should be much better. I guess when you have no competition you don't have to change or adapt :(
Great server! She was busy but always attentive to our needs! The Corn Bread is amazing.....gooey and cake-like! Cocktails were well made and tasty including sangria. Beer selection was acceptable. Calamari was delicious.
Never had a bad meal here, and there are 6 distinct seating experiences to be had, including outside and partially inside. Some of the entrees are a bit overpriced, but many others are quite reasonable. Service and drinks always very good.
My wife and I both shared the fried Calamari and we both wound up with food poisoning. On top of it the bar tender was incredibly snooty and waitress seemed like she hated her job. Its to bad this place could have a lot of potential.
Pros: great service, great location, outdoor seating, lobster stew was delicious, mussels were tasty but broth was extremely oil heavy.
Cons: thin, under-cooked French onion soup, underwhelming amount of lobster in the roll and not enough seasoning (lobster was fresh though which should be expected), fish and chips was not fresh (frozen fish already battered, you can tell).
