Laura, our server was the the highlight. She made the the options more interesting than they actually were, which reflects more on the chef and the server. All the food was fine, good, but just missing something that would have made particularly good. The expectations were high given the atmosphere and the cost. One other thing took away from the experience, flies, not one but like three or four very persistent flies that you had you keep away from your food and yourself. Unfortunately it was a one and done.
Ocean Restaurant Summer 2016 was excellent, Ocean Summer 2017 was flat out terrible. My family and I waited 20+ minutes after we were seated – however the busboy acknowledged our presence since our table was in the middle of the 1,000 sq ft restaurant. The manager was rude and quite inept to handle the situation, the waitress was sweet and tried her best. I guess the restaurant realized their mistake a couple hours later during our marathon dinner and threw us some unmemorable freebies. What was once a Summer tradition will no longer be. :-(
Wonderful view of the ocean and the bush vacation residence. The food was even better. The tuna was the best meal I have ever had.
My family and I go on a "lobster fest" and stay here- staff has always been helpful and kind. Yoga on the front patio was fun, and the views are breathtaking.
A pleasant inn with fine quality rooms and atmosphere. Fantastic view of the Atlantic. Awesome breakfast.
